Corey Dupre, a devoted father, beloved fiancé, and cherished friend, passed away on August 2, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness. Born on September 7, 1983, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, Corey was a beacon of joy and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Corey was the beloved son of Steven (Dina) Michael Dupre and the late Darlene Clendenin Wilson. He was predeceased by his mother, Darlene, his brother, Tyler Dupre, his step-mother, Margo Dupre, and his maternal grandparents, Walter and Dorothy Clendenin. Despite these profound losses, Corey found strength in his surviving family, including his devoted daughter, Gracie (Devyn) Geary of Ripley, TN; his four sons, Nathan Dupre of Dyersburg, TN, Dawson Dupre of Henning, TN, Cashtin Dupre of Johnson City, IL, and Ethan Dupre of Dyersburg, TN; his two sisters, Amber Ramsey of Houma, LA and Aimee Abbott of LA; his two brothers, Eric Pike of Halls, TN and Matthew Wilson of Gates, TN; and his paternal grandmother, Barbara Laughlin. He also leaves behind his fiancé, Heather Buckner of Ripley, TN, and five dearly loved grandchildren. Corey built a fulfilling career, spending many years working on a barge as a deckhand before transitioning into construction. His work was a testament to his dedication and strong work ethic. But it was his time spent with family that truly defined him. Corey cherished every moment with his children and grandchildren, finding joy in their laughter and delight in their company. He had an infectious, happy, and funny personality that lit up every room he entered and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Corey was an avid lover of the outdoors, always finding peace in the water and the beauty of nature. He had a unique flair for fashion, delighting in matching his clothes and expressing his vibrant personality through his style. Known for his generous spirit, Corey was always ready to lend a hand, often going above and beyond to make others happy. His friends and family often remarked on his willingness to give the shirt off his back to help those in need. In honor of Corey's memory, the family requests that any donations be made to a charity of your choice. This gesture reflects Corey's own generous spirit and his lifelong commitment to helping others. Though his time with us was far too brief, Corey Dupre's legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew him.
