In Loving Memory

Corazon Paramio
June 21, 1963 — April 12, 2026
It is with profound sadness and yet a heart full of gratitude for having been touched by her presence that we announce the peaceful passing of Corazon Paramio on April 12, 2026. Born on June 21, 1963, in the nurturing embrace of Pangasinan, Philippines, Corazon's journey through life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and unwavering faith. She left this world with the same grace and dignity with which she lived, after a courageous battle with gallbladder cancer, surrounded by the love of her family.
Corazon was the cherished daughter of Pablo and Felicidad Paramio, who instilled in her the values of kindness, community, and resilience. She was the beloved sister to Margarita Dimatulac and the devoted aunt to Kevin, Manuel, and John Paul Dimatulac. Her cousin, Virginia Thompson, also shared in the close-knit family bond that Corazon nurtured with her unwavering love.
A dedicated and loyal employee of LBC Express for 38 years, Corazon's role as a courier was not just a job; it was her mission. She exemplified dedication, integrity, and service to the Filipino community, leaving a lasting mark on those she served. Her colleagues remember her as a beacon of reliability and warmth, always ready with a smile and a helping hand.
Corazon's deep faith was a guiding light throughout her life. An active member of St. Columban Church, Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Precious Blood Church, and Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church for more than two decades, she brought joy and melody to the hearts of many through her dedicated service in the church choirs. Since 2006, her voice graced the choir of St. Columban Church, a testament to her enduring commitment and love for her faith community.
In her leisure, Corazon found solace and joy in her beloved vegetable garden, where she tenderly cultivated calamansi, lemons, and tomatoes. Sharing the bounty of her garden with neighbors was one of her many ways of spreading joy and forging connections. Her love for singing extended beyond the church walls, as she delighted in practicing her singing and embarking on adventures with friends and family, creating cherished memories along the way.
Corazon was known for her kind heart and charming smile. Her gift for making everyone feel welcomed and valued was a testament to her generous spirit and genuine care for others. Her humor, always ready to bring lightness to any room, endeared her to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A service to celebrate Corazon's remarkable life will be held on May 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Columban Church, located at 125 Loma Dr, Los Angeles, 90026. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of St. Columban Church for their compassionate care and devotion in commemorating Corazon's legacy.
As we gather to honor Corazon's life, let us remember her for the love and generosity she gave so freely. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched, a lasting testament to a life well-lived. May she rest in eternal peace, embraced by the same love she shared with the world.
