Constance Soulard

Meridian, ID - Constance "Connie" Soulard, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, at the age of 96. Born in Meridian, Idaho, on November 29, 1929, to Thomas and Angelina Frechette, Connie embraced a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to her family and community. Connie was married to the love of her life, Victor Soulard, on September 3, 1951. Together, they embarked on a beautiful journey, settling in Marina Del Ray, California, in the mid-1950s. There, they nurtured a warm and loving home for their two daughters, Claudette and Suzanne. Connie and Victor shared countless memories until his passing in 1974, leaving a legacy of love and resilience that Connie carried forward. A woman of remarkable strength and independence, Connie was known for her strong will and organizational skills. Her career as a bookkeeper for Marriott showcased her keen attention to detail and dedication. Beyond her professional life, Connie found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved to travel, often embracing new adventures with an open heart. Her love for card games, dancing, mahjong, and visits to Jackpot, NV, provided cherished moments with friends and family. Connie's nurturing spirit and unwavering faith were the cornerstones of her life. She was a welcoming presence, always ready with a kind word and a listening ear. Her home was a gathering place filled with warmth and laughter, where stories were shared, and memories were made. Preceded in death by her husband Victor and daughter Claudette Davis, Connie leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving family: her devoted daughter Suzanne Held; cherished grandchildren Jen Movius-Held, Eric Held, Brian Davis, Paula Street, James Davis, and Joseph Reagan. Her family will forever hold dear the countless lessons of love, strength, and compassion she imparted. A celebration of Connie's life will be held on April 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Holy Apostles Catholic Church, located at 6300 N Meridian Rd, Meridian, ID 83646. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Connie are warmly invited to join in honoring her memory and celebrating the beautiful life she lived. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in Connie's name, as a testament to her generous spirit and lifelong commitment to helping others.
