It is with heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of Connor, a bright and compassionate soul, on May 31, 2026. Born in Pineville on September 17, 2006, Connor brought light and joy to those around him with his unwavering kindness and patience. He was taken from us far too soon, the victim of a senseless car crash caused by a drunk driver.
Connor was the cherished son of Dwight and Pam, who remember him as a "baby boy, always too kind for this world." His gentle nature and ability to see the bigger picture were qualities that defined him. He never let anger or frustration dim his spirit, a testament to his remarkable patience and generosity.
An outstanding student, Connor was pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. His academic pursuits were matched by his passion for soccer, a sport he not only loved but also shared with the younger generation as a dedicated youth soccer coach and referee. His involvement in soccer was not just a pastime but a way of life, as he found immense joy in teaching and inspiring young players.
In addition to his love for soccer, Connor enjoyed video games and cooking, often sharing his latest culinary creations with family and friends. His playful spirit and warm presence were a source of comfort and happiness for all who knew him.
Connor’s life, though brief, was filled with meaningful connections and contributions. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Dwight and Pam, his extended family, friends, and the countless young athletes he inspired on the soccer field.
A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Connor’s memory and celebrate the beautiful impact he had on the world. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we hold onto the memories of his laughter, kindness, and the love he shared so freely.
"To my baby boy, who was always too kind for this world, I love you." - A message from his family.
Rest in peace, dear Connor. Your legacy of kindness and joy will forever be cherished in our hearts.
