Connie Marie Badgero

December 11, 1950 — August 13, 2026

Connie Marie (Moffatt) Badgero, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on August 13, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 11, 1950, in Alma, Michigan, to Wayne H. and Violet M. Moffatt, who predeceased her. Connie grew up in a loving family alongside her siblings, Kathryn J. Moffatt and Michael (Judy) Moffatt, both of Midland. She graduated from Meridian High School and pursued further education by completing several years of college, a testament to her lifelong love of learning. While raising her three children, Lori R. Davison of Coleman, David (Jennifer) Badgero of Blanchard, and Michael (Courtney) Badgero of Beaverton, Connie dedicated herself to providing private duty home health care for the elderly. Her nurturing spirit and commitment to helping others defined her career. Later, Connie worked with Altman Management Company and the Salvation Army Midland Corp., where her kindness and dedication touched many lives. She was the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren: Arynn (Aric) Davis, Meagan (Chris) Barden, Ryan Spencer, Kyle Badgero, Daniel Badgero, Lucinda Badgero, Conner Badgero, Brandon Burhans, and Madalyn Badgero as well as six great-grandchildren. Connie had a love for many animals over the years, especially cats. She leaves behind her sweet boy, Finley, who loved to snuggle up with her each night. Connie was an avid reader who found joy in the worlds within books. She also enjoyed crafts, growing plants and flowers as well as collecting antiques, hobbies that she pursued with passion and enthusiasm. She found beauty in the simple things and shared that appreciation with those around her. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Heartland Hospice for their loving and compassionate care, as well as to everyone at the Toni and Trish House for the Care of the Terminally Ill. Your dedication and kindness during Connie's final days brought comfort and peace to her and her family, and for that, we are truly grateful. In memory of Connie, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Toni and Trish House for the Care of the Terminally Ill in Auburn, MI. Connie's life was a testament to love, kindness, and resilience. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew her.
