A proud graduate of Elgin High School, class of 1974, Shortly after graduation, she married the love of her life, Robert Lynn, on May 10, 1975, in Green Camp, Ohio. Their union was a remarkable partnership that spanned over five decades, filled with shared adventures and endless joy. Professionally, Connie dedicated many years to her career at BVMA, where her diligent work ethic and meticulous nature were admired by colleagues and friends alike. Her unwavering commitment to her role was only matched by her devotion to her family and her passion for crafting. Connie retired in 2015, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and fond memories. Connie's creativity found its expression in the delicate art of quilting and sewing. Her hands crafted countless treasures, each piece imbued with her warmth and attention to detail. Whether it was a beautiful quilt, a lovingly sewn garment, or her famously frosted sugar cookies, Connie's creations were a testament to her talent and love for those around her. Her home was a sanctuary of creativity, where the aroma of fresh-baked cookies often mingled with the vibrant blooms of her well-tended flower garden. She is also survived by her Mother Christine, sister Pat and brother Jeff and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Paul Hawkins, and her brother, Michael Hawkins.
