Connie, a cherished soul and beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully at Medical City Denton on July 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren. Born on September 30, 1948, in Greenville, PA, Connie lived a life rich with love, compassion, and dedication to family, friends, and community. She was 77 years old.
Raised by her devoted mother, Patricia Foulk, who preceded her in death, Connie was a beacon of love and resilience. She moved to California in her youth, where she graduated high school, marking the beginning of a journey that would take her across the country and into the hearts of many.
Connie proudly served her nation as a Medical Service Specialist in the U.S. Air Force from 1967 to 1970, achieving the rank of Sergeant. Her service was characterized by dedication and a nurturing spirit, qualities that remained with her throughout her life. After her military service, Connie found a long and fulfilling career as a Dermatologist office manager, where she worked diligently for 26 years, forming lasting bonds with colleagues and patients alike.
An avid reader, Connie set and nearly achieved an ambitious personal goal of reading 10,000 books, delighting in the worlds and stories that each book offered. Her love for literature was matched by her passion for needlepoint, crochet, and jigsaw puzzles, hobbies that exemplified her patience and attention to detail. She was fascinated by the idea of flying and held a deep love for animals, always finding joy in the simple pleasures that life had to offer.
Connie is survived by her devoted daughter, Dina Premont, and her husband, Earl Premont; her loving son, Richard Smith, and his girlfriend, Kristy Rogers; her treasured grandchildren, Caitlin Sims and her husband, Thomas Sims, and Ryan Premont. Her family was her world, and her gentle spirit and unwavering love left an indelible mark on each member.
