Colten Lane

July 6, 1996 — October 1, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Colten Lane, a cherished husband, devoted father, and passionate craftsman, on October 1, 2026. Born on July 6, 1996, in Seguin, Texas, Colten's life was a testament to love, dedication, and talent. Colten was the beloved son of Christopher Hauschild and Antanya Stermer. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Bryan, Cayden, Brene, and Caidence, each of whom held a special place in his heart. Colten's deep love for his family was evident in the way he lived his life, always cherishing the moments he spent with them. From a young age, Colten exhibited a remarkable aptitude for his craft, earning his Master Electrician License at just 21 years old. With determination and skill, he built a successful career by founding and running his own Electrical Company. Colten was widely respected for his exceptional abilities and his dedication to his work, which was matched only by his love for his family. Outside of his professional achievements, Colten found joy in the pursuits of bull riding, playing guitar, and team roping. These hobbies not only brought him personal fulfillment but also connected him with a community of friends who appreciated his adventurous spirit and musical talent. Colten's greatest joy came from his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah, and their newborn son, Colten Lane Jr., who will carry forward his father's legacy of warmth, strength, and kindness. Colten's family was his pride and joy, and his memory will forever be cherished in their hearts. A service to celebrate Colten's life will be held on October 6, 2026, at 2:30 PM at Moffatt Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor and remember this extraordinary man who touched the lives of so many. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Colten Lane. Colten Lane's life was a beacon of love and dedication.
