Colin Mulhern, a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on September 21, 2026, at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was the cherished son of the late Michael and Carol (Courter) Mulhern and is now reunited with them and his dear cousins, Fred and Dianne. Colin's life was a tapestry of rich experiences and heartfelt connections. His journey took him from the vibrant streets of New York to a fulfilling career as a graphic designer. However, Colin's compassionate nature and desire to make a difference led him back to school to become a registered nurse, specializing in behavioral health. In this role, he touched the lives of many with his caring and empathetic approach. His sense of humor was legendary, lighting up any room with his infectious laughter. Colin's good nature and ability to find joy in every situation made him a beacon of positivity for those around him. He was a man who truly understood the power of laughter to heal and connect, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. Colin is survived by his two loving sons, Aidan Mulhern and Ronan Mulhern, who were his pride and joy. He is also survived by his brothers, Peter (and wife Moira) Mulhern and Decklin Mulhern, who shared in countless adventures and cherished memories. His niece, Jessica, and nephew, Michael, will forever remember their Uncle Colin with fondness and love.
