December 19, 1942 — May 4, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Coetta Crow, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who peacefully departed from this world on May 4, 2026, in her sleep at the age of 83.
Born on December 19, 1942, in the quaint town of Snowball, Arkansas, Coetta was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. Her life was a testament to the beauty of simplicity, the warmth of family, and the joy found in life's everyday moments. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Marvin Crow, whose companionship she cherished for many years, and by her sister and brother, who were dear to her heart.
Coetta is survived by a loving family that includes her four children: Randy (Tracy) Crow, Dale Crow, Steve Crow, and Benita (Kris) Mealer. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Keisha (Derek) Aynes, Bethany (Garrett) Duggins, Jordan (Kaylynne) Crow, Kayla Crow, Briana (Macllain) Eddington, and Britney (Chase) Hochard, as well as her great-grandchildren Espen and Emmi Aynes, Keegan and Alayna Crow, Maya and Lyla Hochard, and Kayla's children, who brought endless joy to her life.
Coetta's life was rooted in community and faith. A member of her local church, she found solace and strength in her faith, which she shared with those around her. Known for her spirited personality, Coetta enjoyed simple pleasures such as mowing her lawn and the occasional accidental fire, which she often recounted with a twinkle in her eye. Her porch was a gathering place, where family and friends would sit for hours, sharing stories, laughter, and love.
A master of practical jokes, Coetta had a penchant for April Fools' Day, bringing smiles to the faces of those she held dear. Her kitchen was the heart of the home, where she lovingly prepared meals that brought everyone together, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
A service to honor Coetta's life will be held on May 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the local graveyard, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and bid her a heartfelt farewell.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff at Gassville Nursing and Rehab in Gassville, Arkansas, for the compassionate care and kindness they showed to Coetta in her final days.
Coetta Crow lived a life full of love, laughter, and legacy. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the beautiful memories and the love she so generously shared with us all.
