In Loving Memory of Cody Crumley
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Cody Crumley, who left this world on May 30, 2026. Cody was born in the charming town of Lebanon, OR, on July 16, 1993, to his loving parents Thomas Crumley and Lorra Schroeder. He was a beacon of hope, laughter, and love in the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Cody's life, though tragically short, was marked by a spirit that was endlessly hopeful and filled with a humor that touched the hearts of many. He faced his unexpected final moments with a grace and optimism that were quintessentially Cody. His friends fondly recall his hopeful anticipation as he awaited the return of his girlfriend's parents, who were, unbeknownst to him, delayed on their mission to bring sustenance. Cody's patience, humorously stretched to its limits, became a testament to his enduring spirit.
Even in his final hours, Cody's wit shone through as he peered eagerly out the window, each passing car a potential deliverer of the much-anticipated meal. His last words, "Just tell them to bring extra fries," encapsulated his playful nature and love for life's simple pleasures.
Cody is survived by his beloved girlfriend and their two sons, who were the light of his life. His legacy lives on in them, as well as in the memories cherished by his family and friends. Though predeceased by family, his indelible spirit continues to inspire those he leaves behind.
To honor Cody's memory, a celebration of life will be held at the nearest restaurant. In a fitting tribute to his zest for life and love of good food, attendees are encouraged to place their orders immediately — a nod to Cody's humorous reminder that food "on the way" can sometimes mean a bit of a wait.
Cody's life serves as a gentle reminder of the joy found in everyday moments and the importance of laughter, even in the face of adversity. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will remain forever in our hearts.
Rest in peace, dear Cody. Your laughter will echo in our memories, and your love will continue to nourish our souls.
