Born on June 15, 1945, in the quaint town of New Haven, Connecticut, Codex lived a life rich in love, laughter, and service. Her departure marks the end of an era for all who cherished her presence, but her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her. Codex was the cherished daughter of Eleanor and Thomas Test, who preceded her in death. Raised with strong values and a nurturing spirit, Codex carried forward the legacy of her parents, instilling these same principles in her family and community. In New Haven, where she was born and raised, Codex received her education and served her community with dedication. Her career as a teacher and mentor left an indelible mark on countless lives. She had the rare gift of making each person feel seen and valued, a testament to her innate kindness and patience. Codex shared a long and loving marriage with her spouse, which was a beacon of love and partnership. Together, they cultivated a home filled with warmth and laughter, a sanctuary for their children and grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and she was deeply devoted to them, as well as to her many friends. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with varied interests and passions. Codex had a profound love for gardening, where she found peace and joy in nurturing life from the soil. Her piano playing filled rooms with melody and heart, and her culinary skills were renowned, often bringing family and friends together for gatherings that were as much about joy as they were about the delicious meals she lovingly prepared. Codex's commitment to service extended beyond her family and into her community. She was an active volunteer with her church and various neighborhood groups, always ready to lend a hand and uplift those around her. Her gentle humor and steadfast patience were a comfort to many, and her ability to bring people together was a true gift. A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Codex Upgrade Test will be held at Grace Chapel in New Haven, Connecticut. The service will be a time for family, friends, and all who knew her to gather, remember, and find solace in shared memories. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the organizations Codex was passionate about, reflecting her lifelong dedication to community service.
