Clyde was the beloved son of Ruby and Primer Powell, who instilled in him the values of kindness, generosity, and resilience. These values guided him throughout his life and were evident in his every interaction. With his quick wit and infectious smile, Clyde had a rare gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. He was always ready with a joke to lighten the mood and bring laughter to those around him. In Terry, Mississippi, Clyde found the love of his life, Mary Powell. They raised seven children—Richard Powell, Frederick Powell, Jonetha Lewis, Sandra Phillips, Mary Collins, Lisa Powell, and Ashlee Powell—who were the center of their world. Clyde's legacy extends through his 16 grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart, and his 2 great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy in his later years. He cherished every moment spent with his family, whether it was sharing stories, imparting wisdom, or simply enjoying the presence of those he loved most. A man of profound kindness and unwavering generosity, Clyde touched countless lives.
