Clinton Allen Pike, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, peacefully concluded his courageous battle with illness on March 15, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on October 6, 1960, in the quiet town of Ogallala, Nebraska, Clinton's life was a testament to resilience, love, and laughter. Clinton was the cherished son of Dale and Phyllis Pike, and he was raised in Ogallala. He obtained his high school diploma through a GED program in December 14th of 1988, and later pursued his passion for working with his hands by earning a degree in welding from Western Dakota Tech in 2000 and 2001 Clinton's career was as diverse as his interests; he held various jobs in his younger years, ultimately finding his calling as a skilled woodworker and sawmill worker. His craftsmanship was admired by many, and his creations continue to grace the homes of those fortunate enough to have them. In the heart of his life was his ex-wife, Patricia Pike, whom he married on November 18, 1985. Together, they raised two sons, Christopher Pike and John Cook, whom he loved dearly. Clinton was a devoted grandfather to Xandria, Arianna, and Serenity Pike, and Conall Cook, whose lives he enriched with his love and humor. Clinton was a man of many talents and passions. He was happiest when surrounded by nature, enjoying fishing trips, camping adventures, and tending to his garden. A talented painter, his oil paintings captured the beauty of the world as he saw it. Clinton's playful spirit was infectious; he was a notorious prankster and jokester, always ready with a quick wit and a hearty laugh, bringing joy to everyone around him. He was a proud member of the Intertribal Church, where he found community and spiritual fulfillment. Clinton's kindness, generosity, and sense of humor left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He was a pillar of strength and a beacon of light for his family and friends. Clinton was predeceased by his parents, Dale Pike and Phyllis (Pike) Dickinson, his stepfather C.B. "Dick" Dickinson, his sister Arlene Hattersley, his brother Dale A. Pike, and many beloved aunts and uncles. He is survived by his loving son Christopher, his adored grandchildren, his siblings Rodney( Becky) Pike, Pam Beauchamp, and Jim Goodon, and his dear friend George Zoucha. Clinton also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory. In honoring Clinton's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and doctors at Grand Island Memorial Hospital and Great Plains Hospital for their compassionate care during Clinton's final days. As we remember Clinton Allen Pike, let us celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and generosity. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
