Born on February 12, 1964, in Mobile, AL, Clifton's journey through life was marked by love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to his family and community. He moved to Compton California years ago to pursue his passion in the trucking business industry.
Clifton was the beloved son of the late Gwendolyn Gregory Walker and Robert Walker, and Winston Thomas. He was a devoted father to his surviving children, Natalia Gregory and Clifton Gregory Jr, who were the lights of his life and constant sources of pride. He was predeceased by his loving mother, Gwendolyn Gregory Walker, and his daughter, Natasha Browe, whose memories he cherished deeply.
Clifton's legacy continues through his granddaughters, Dahalia Hart and Ca’Lia Gregory, who brought immense joy to his life. Although he did not have the chance to meet any great-grandchildren, the stories of his kindness and humor will undoubtedly be shared with future generations.
A proud alumnus of Davidson High School, Clifton graduated in 1982 and carried the values he learned there throughout his life. He was an active member of the Community Baptist Church in Compton, CA, where he was known for his quick wit, warm smile, and a love for joking around. Clifton's generosity and caring nature were evident to all who knew him, and his love for fashion always made him stand out in any crowd.
His family invites all who knew him to celebrate his life on April 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Community Baptist Church, located at 1155 East 148th St, Compton, CA 90220. As we gather to honor his memory, we remember the laughter he shared, the kindness he spread, and the love that enveloped his every action.
