It is with profound sadness that the family of Cleo Young announces his peaceful passing at home on August 30, 2026. Born on January 30, 1947, in Marion, Arkansas, Cleo was a beloved son of Cleo Young Sr. and Flora Faulkner, who predeceased him. He was also predeceased by his cherished wife of 55 years, Revella Young, and his dear siblings, Hubert and Stanley Faulkner, and Elvis and Robert Earl Young. Cleo's life was a testament to love, laughter, and unwavering kindness. Married to Revella on April 21, 1977, in Marion, Arkansas, the couple shared a beautiful journey marked by a deep commitment to each other and their family. Together, they raised seven wonderful children: Sandra (David) Vaughn of Joiner, AR; Cleven Young of Marion, AR; Deborah (Cecil) Elmore of Gilmore, AR; Diane Young of Marion, AR; Kenny Young of Cape, Missouri; Rodney Young of Sikeston, Missouri; and Samantha (Clement) Newton of Jamesmill, AR. Cleo's legacy of love extends to his 30 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to his life. Known for his quick wit and warm smile, Cleo had the remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued. His sense of humor brightened the lives of those around him, and his generous spirit touched countless hearts. Whether sharing a joke or lending a helping hand, Cleo's kindness left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A service celebrating Cleo's life will be held at 11:00 AM on September 12, 2026, at Beautiful Zion M.B. Church, located at 420 S. 15th West Memphis, AR. Family, friends, and all whose lives were enriched by Cleo's presence are invited to gather in remembrance of a man whose life was a blessing to so many. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Legacy Hospice for their compassionate care and hospitality during Cleo's final days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Cleo's memory. Cleo Young's life was a beacon of love and joy, and his memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him.
