Cleo's journey began in Denver, Colorado, where she was born on October 2, 1972, to her loving parents, Elizabeth Durance and Francisco Arellano. Cleo was a vibrant soul known for her infectious happiness and undeniable beauty, both inside and out. She faced life's challenges with courage and grace, including her struggle with addiction, which ultimately took her from us too soon. Despite this battle, Cleo's spirit remained indomitable, and her love for life was evident in everything she did. A creative at heart, Cleo found joy and expression in art. Whether she was coloring, drawing, or carving wood, her artistic talents were a testament to her boundless imagination and skill. She shared her passion by selling her beautiful wood carvings, leaving behind pieces of her creativity for others to cherish. Cleo's heart was as vast as her artistic spirit, she is survived by her children, Vanessa and Matthew Maestas, her six beloved grandchildren: Leo, Elijah, Nathanael, Manuel Izayden, and Miklo. Also her Sister Amalia Padilla ,and her brother Felix Arellano, also many other nieces and nephews. She is predeceased into death by her infant son, Manuel Maestas, her adult son, Joseph Maestas, and her parents, Elizabeth Durance and Francisco (Frank) Arellano . The memory of these cherished family members lives on in the hearts of those who survive her. Cleo's legacy is one of love, resilience, and creativity. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is at peace, reunited with her loved ones who went before her. A private funeral ceremony will be held in her honor, allowing her family and close friends to celebrate her life in an intimate setting. The family extends their deepest gratitude to all who have offered their love and prayers during this difficult time.
