In loving memory of Clay Kelley Boatwright Walker, who was tragically taken from his family on May 22, 2026. Born on November 7, 1982, in Fort Worth, Texas, Clay's life was a testament to love, dedication, and an unwavering spirit. He was a beacon of warmth and humor, admired and cherished by all who knew him. Clay was the beloved son of Donald Keith Walker and Karen Michel Walker. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Lee Kelley and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth McCleskey, and his stepfather, Patrick Kickham. His legacy is carried on by his devoted wife, Tricia Walker, whom he married on August 13, 2020, after a loving journey that began on March 31, 2014. Their bond, spanning 12 joyful years, was marked by deep affection and shared dreams. A proud father, Clay is survived by his children, Kelley (Damian) Gonzalez, Camryn Rovner, Elizabethe Walker, Jessa Walker, Delane Morrow, Jerry Williams, and Landon Marshall. He was a doting grandfather to his cherished grandson, Gabriel Gonzalez. Clay's family also includes his parents, Donald (Carol) Walker and Karen Walker, his sisters, Amanda Walker and Jessica Harris, and numerous nephews and nieces, including Aidan, Grayson, Hunter, Raleigh, Tinley, Jolie, Everlee, and Whitley. Clay's journey in life was marked by a profound sense of skill and creativity. A graduate of ATI Welding in 2010, he found immense joy in his work as a carpenter, particularly in framing. His hands and vision brought to life several homes and businesses across East Texas, including the bridal shop off the frontage road on Route 30 near Greenville and the Bear Lodges off Lake Tawakoni. Notably, he was instrumental in framing a Holiday Inn in Trophy Club. In recent years, after being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, Clay channeled his talents into appliance repair and maintaining the family property on Coca Cola Lake Road. Beyond his work, Clay's heart was filled with love for his American Bullies, who were his pride and joy. His dream of being an outlaw gold miner spoke to his adventurous spirit and zest for life. Clay's quick wit and kind heart were ever-present, and he showed his love through playful teasing and unwavering support, always ready to move mountains for those he cherished. A service to celebrate Clay's life will be held on June 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Christ Methodist Church, located at 5204 S. Rondo Road. The family extends their deepest gratitude to their church family and friends for their unwavering support during this difficult time.
