With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Claudine Estelle Wilkerson Ebersole, who left this world peacefully on July 8, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on January 28, 1947, in Johnson City, NY, Claudine was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was a testament to faith, love, and resilience. Claudine was the cherished daughter of the late Claude J. Spencer and Pearl Mae Spencer Warder. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Marshall J. Wilkerson, whose memory she held dear throughout her life. Her legacy is lovingly carried forward by her devoted husband of ten years, William Ebersole, with whom she shared a beautiful life marked by love and mutual respect. A devoted mother, Claudine is survived by her daughter Annette Temme and son-in-law Alvin Harvey. Her grandchildren, Daniel J. Wilkerson, Jesselyn Temme, Edward Temme, Sarah Wilkerson Casella, Stephanie Wilkerson, and Leland Wilkerson, along with her great-granddaughter, Veronica Campbell, will forever cherish the fond memories and valuable lessons she imparted. Claudine was a beloved sister to Sally Spencer Van Osdell and a caring aunt to her niece, Colleen Bosley. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she took great pride in nurturing and supporting her loved ones through all of life's moments. In 1956, Claudine moved to Florida, where she built a life filled with purpose and dedication. She married, raised her family, attended college, and worked tirelessly, eventually finding her calling with the Florida State Department, where she dedicated over 20 years of service. Her work ethic and commitment to excellence were admired by all who knew her. Claudine was a woman of deep faith and an active member of Springhill Baptist Church. Her devotion to her church community, love for Bible study, and passion for learning scripture were central to her identity. She was a devout Christian whose life was guided by her unwavering belief in God's promise. Known for her quirky sense of humor, Claudine brought laughter and joy to those around her. She had a gift for making people smile and was beloved by many for her kind spirit and open heart. She found great joy in reading, where she could lose herself in stories and gain new perspectives. In honoring Claudine's memory, the family reflects on her favorite scripture, John 11:25-26, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die." This passage encapsulates her unwavering faith and provides comfort in knowing that her spirit endures. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Claudine's memory to support causes close to her heart. As we celebrate the life of Claudine Estelle Wilkerson Ebersole, we remember a woman whose love, faith, and humor touched all who were fortunate enough to know her.
