Claudette Moser

July 8, 1938 — May 11, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for her life that we announce the peaceful passing of Claudette Moser on May 11, 2026. Born on July 8, 1938, in the warm embrace of Louisiana, Claudette departed this world as she lived in it—surrounded by the love and laughter of her cherished family. Claudette was the beloved daughter of the late Reginald Cason and Annie Mildred Rooks. She was predeceased by her dear siblings, WC, Vera, and Carolyn, as well as her treasured son, Clyde Richard Spence. Though their absence was deeply felt, Claudette's spirit was a beacon of light for those who remained. She is survived by her devoted husband, Larry, with whom she shared 46 beautiful years of marriage. Their journey together was marked by adventures across the globe, a testament to their shared love of life and discovery. Claudette's legacy continues through her loving daughters, Debbie and her husband Mark, and Tammy. She also leaves behind her cherished stepdaughters, Doreen Moser and Cindy, and stepsons, Michael Moser and Larry Moser Jr. Claudette's greatest joy came from her six grandchildren: Amy Alsip and her husband Steve, Zack Spence and his wife Kristen, Amber Spence, James Hertwig, Cheri Hertwig, and Nick Spence. Her love extended further to her two great-grandchildren, Lily and Gracie Alsip, who brought her immense pride and joy. Known for her meticulous nature, Claudette kept an immaculate home—a place of warmth and hospitality where laughter was abundant. Her stark white Keds were as much a part of her signature style as her sparkling wit and uncanny knack for always being right. Claudette was the life of every party, imbuing each gathering with humor and joy. She had a gift for making those around her feel cherished and understood. In her final days, Claudette was cared for with compassion by Heart to Hospice, to whom her family extends their deepest gratitude for their gracious support and care. A celebration of Claudette's life will be held on May 20, 2026, at 2:30 PM. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor a life lived with grace, humor, and unyielding love. As we say goodbye to a remarkable woman, we hold her memory in our hearts, comforted by the legacy of love she leaves behind. Rest in peace, dear Claudette, knowing that you were deeply loved and will be forever missed.
