In Loving Memory

Clarissa Lynn Nunez
October 30, 1982 — July 19, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Clarissa Lynn Nunez, who left this world on July 19, 2026, at the age of 43. Born on October 30, 1982, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Clarissa’s life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and kindness. Tragically, she left us as a result of a car accident that also claimed the life of her cherished mother.
Clarissa was a devoted wife to Joe Morales, whom she married on December 13, 2014. Their love story, however, began long before their wedding day, as they shared 20 beautiful years together, filled with memories that will forever be treasured. Together, they navigated the joys and challenges of life, creating a family that was the very center of Clarissa's world. She was a loving mother to her children, Darien, Dylan, and Azalya, who were her pride and joy.
With a quick wit and a warm smile, Clarissa had an extraordinary ability to make everyone around her feel welcomed and cherished. Her sense of humor was infectious, and she was always ready with a joke to lift the spirits of those around her. The kindness and generosity she extended to all who knew her left an indelible mark on countless lives.
Clarissa found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved fishing, where she found peace and connection to nature. Running was another passion, allowing her moments of solitude and reflection amidst her busy life. But perhaps her greatest joy came from caring for her numerous nieces and nephews, whom she adored as if they were her own children.
A service celebrating Clarissa’s remarkable life will be held on July 31, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the Maxwell P Dunne Funeral Home located at 5921 Yorktown Blvd, Corpus Christi, Texas, 78414. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Clarissa are invited to join in remembering and honoring her legacy.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Clarissa’s memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her spirit of generosity and love.
Clarissa Lynn Nunez will be remembered for her unwavering love, her infectious laughter, and her boundless kindness. Though she has left this world too soon, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
