Clara Joyce Drahos, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026, at the Ripley Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, TN. Born on September 6, 1952, in Ripley, TN, Clara was a cherished member of the community who touched the lives of many with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family. Clara was the daughter of the late Wesley Arnell and Ruby Mae (Nelson) Crowder. She grew up in a close-knit family, forming deep bonds with her siblings that lasted throughout her life. She carried these values forward, nurturing her own family with the same love and dedication she had learned as a child. Clara is survived by her devoted husband, Joseph Drahos, who together with Clara, built a life filled with love and laughter in Ripley, TN. Her legacy continues through her daughter, Jennifer Robinson of Tampa, FL, and her son, David Edwards of Lakeland, FL. Clara's greatest joy was her family, and she found immense happiness in the presence of her four grandchildren, who she adored and cherished deeply. Her siblings, who shared in the joys and challenges of life, include her sister Ruth Simmons of Ripley, TN, and her brothers, Jimmy Crowder, Pat Crowder, "Toe" Crowder, Steve Crowder, and Billy Crowder, all of Ripley, TN. Clara's family gatherings were always filled with warmth and laughter, as she loved nothing more than spending time with those she held dear, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Clara had a remarkable ability to make those around her feel loved and valued. Her gentle spirit and compassionate nature left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Those who knew her will remember her not only for her love of family but also for her unyielding kindness and generosity. A service to celebrate Clara's life will be held on April 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Halls Funeral Home, located at 109 N. Church St., Halls, TN. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a truly remarkable woman who brought so much joy to those around her. Clara Joyce Drahos's life was a testament to the power of love and family, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
