CLARA JEAN CLARK

Clara Jean Clark, born June 1, 1941, in Epps, Louisiana, died August 7, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was 85. Clara was a woman who knew how to live. For more than three decades, she worked at the Delhi Boat Factory, a steady presence and a familiar face to her coworkers. But her real passion lay beyond the factory walls. She loved to fish, travel, and most of all, to be surrounded by the people she cared about. Those who knew her remember a woman who was loving and caring, someone who lit up a room with her outgoing spirit and genuine warmth. She attended Magnolia High School in Pioneer, Louisiana, and built a full life rooted in family and friendship. Clara attended church regularly and later joined Palestine Missionary Church, where she served on the usher board. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, George and Martha Clark, her 4 siblings Sylvester Clark, Henry Clark, Effie B Clark, Gracie Newbold and her daughter Joyce Sanders. She leaves behind her children Stevie Clark (Janice) of Bossier City, LA, Linda Fairley of Dallas TX, Connie Clark (David) of Epps, LA, and Kenny Clark ( Brandy) of Princeton, LA. A host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends and family that loved her dearly. Though she has gone on to glory, her love remains deeply rooted in the lives she touched. Her memory will forever be a reminder that strength can be quiet, faith can be lived daily and love, when given freely, never truly leaves us. She will be dearly missed, lovingly remembered and eternally cherished.
