Cindy Finwell
March 13, 1956 — September 25, 2026
It is with deep sadness and profound love that we announce the passing of Cindy Finwell, a cherished soul who left us peacefully at home on September 25, 2026. Born on March 13, 1956, in the welcoming town of Ennis, Cindy graced the world with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering generosity for 70 wonderful years.
Cindy was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, David Finwell, with whom she shared a remarkable and love-filled journey for 35 years. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and mutual respect, and together they built a beautiful family and life.
A proud and loving mother, Cindy is survived by her two sons, Cliff and Alex Mathes, who were the light of her life, and through whom her legacy of love and compassion continues. Her three adoring grandchildren were a source of immense pride and joy, bringing her countless smiles and laughter.
Cindy was preceded in death by her dear parents, William and Mindy, who have surely welcomed her with open arms. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, yet her spirit will live on through the countless lives she touched.
Her warmth extended beyond her family, as Cindy was known for her community involvement and her passion for helping others. She was a beacon of light and hope, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear to those in need.
A service to honor and celebrate Cindy's life will be held on September 30, 2026, at 2:30 PM at the Tabernacle, located at 1200 Country Club Rd. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Cindy are invited to join us in commemorating her remarkable life and legacy.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Cindy's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her own generous spirit and commitment to helping others.
Cindy will be dearly missed but forever remembered with love and admiration. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
