Cindy Chapman
June 12, 1990 — July 3, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cindy Chapman, who left us far too soon on July 3, 2026, at the age of 36. Cindy was born on June 12, 1990, in Toledo, Ohio, to Teri Jaqua and John Chapman. Her untimely departure leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Cindy was a beacon of light in the lives of her family and friends. She grew up in a close-knit family, nurtured by the love and guidance of her parents. She was preceded in death by her father, John Chapman, who she now joins in eternal peace, as well as her beloved uncles, David Mock and Keith Chapman. Cindy is survived by her devoted mother, Teri; her sister, Jailyn Chapman of Surprise; her brother, David Crosby; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Cindy was home-schooled, an experience that fostered her love for learning and her independent spirit. She found joy and fulfillment in her work as a receptionist at her aunt's salon, where her warm smile and kind nature welcomed everyone who walked through the door. Her colleagues and clients were more than just people she worked with; they became a family of their own, and she cherished each moment spent in their company.
Ever the adventurer at heart, Cindy loved exploring the great outdoors and found solace in nature's beauty. Her free spirit led her to many trips and festivals, where she embraced life with an open heart. She delighted in the simple pleasures of watching bands play at local bars and indulged in her passion for reading, always preferring the tactile experience of holding a book in her hands.
Cindy's zest for life and her infectious joy touched everyone she met. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her laughter that could light up a room, and her unwavering loyalty to those she loved.
A memorial service to celebrate Cindy's life will be held on July 10, 2026. As we gather to honor her memory, we encourage those who knew and loved Cindy to share their stories and remember the beautiful moments spent in her presence.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in Cindy's memory. Her generous spirit and compassionate nature will continue to live on through the kindness shared with others.
Cindy Chapman will forever remain in our hearts, and her legacy of love and joy will continue to inspire us all.
