Cindy Ann (Wetherbee) Hudon
August 23, 1961 — May 11, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cindy Ann (Wetherbee) Hudon, who departed this world on May 11, 2026, at the age of 64, after a brief illness at UMASS Memorial Health Care - University Campus in Worcester. Born on August 23, 1961, in the quaint town of Webster, Massachusetts, Cindy was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness.
Cindy was the cherished daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Saad) Wetherbee, whose spirits now embrace her in eternity. She is predeceased by her dear sister, Judy Ann Boulet, whose memory she held close to her heart.
Cindy's vibrant spirit and generous nature will be deeply missed by her surviving family, including her devoted brothers: Richard Wetherbee and his companion, Kim Costen, of Southbridge; Mark Wetherbee of Putnam, CT; John Wetherbee and his wife, Jennifer, of San Antonio, TX; and Matthew Wetherbee and his companion, Amy, of Webster. Cindy also leaves behind her loving sister, Cathy Gomes, and her companion, Frank Farra, of Woodstock, CT, as well as her brother-in-law, Greg Boulet, of Woodstock. Her family was her anchor, and she cherished every moment spent in their company.
Cindy lived a life marked by dedication and service, working as a cashier at Wal-Mart, a bus driver for Baypath Regional, and a taxi driver for City Cab. In each role, she was known for her friendly smile and her willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her career was a testament to her commitment to her community and her love for connecting with people from all walks of life.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Cindy found joy and solace in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid motorcycle rider, embracing the freedom of the open road and the thrill of adventure. The ocean was her sanctuary, a place where she found peace and inspiration, often spending hours by the shore, captivated by the soothing rhythm of the waves.
Though Cindy's physical presence has left us, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her legacy of kindness, resilience, and joy will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
Family and friends are invited to honor Cindy's life and bid their farewells at a graveside service to be held on May 27, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Mount Zion Cemetery, located in Webster, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Cindy's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her generous spirit and her commitment to helping others.
As we gather to celebrate Cindy's life, let us remember the light and love she brought into our lives, and carry her memory with us, always. May she rest in eternal peace, her soul forever cradled by the endless ocean she so dearly loved.
