C’iana Monae Edwards

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved C’iana Monae Edwards, who left this world far too soon on July 16, 2026, at the tender age of just 27 days. She was born on June 19, 2026, in Springfield, Illinois to the parents of Tiffani Wright and Christopher Edwards. Though her time with us was brief, C’iana's presence brought immense joy and love to those who were fortunate enough to meet her. Her radiant smile had the power to brighten even the darkest of days, a testament to the light and hope she brought into our lives. In her short life, she touched many hearts and left an indelible mark on her family. C’iana was surrounded by her closest family members as she peacefully departed from this world, a testament to the deep love and warmth that enveloped her throughout her life. She is preceded in death by her uncle and great grandparents, who now welcome her into their embrace in the heavens above. She is survived by a loving family who will forever cherish her memory and the joy she brought into their lives. Her parents, Tiffani and Christopher, remain in Springfield, IL, along with her siblings, Alesha, Derrell, Talayia, and Treyvon. She is also survived by Juankevion Calvert of Southaven, MS; Decarius Edwards of Dallas, TX; Tyler and Jalyn Edwards of Indianola, MS; and O’Ryan Green of Indianola, MS. As the family grieves the loss of their precious angel, they find solace in the cherished moments and the boundless love C’iana shared during her brief time on earth. They will forever hold her in their hearts, remembering her beautiful spirit and the joy she brought into their lives. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in C’iana’s memory to a charity or organization of choice, celebrating her life by spreading love and kindness as she did during her short time with us. Though her time here was fleeting, C’iana Monae Edwards will be forever remembered as a beacon of light and love. She will be deeply missed but will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her, guiding them with her enduring spirit and beautiful smile.
