It is with profound sadness that the family of Christopher Walker announces his passing on April 27, 2026, at the age of 54. Christopher was born on April 1, 1972, in Chardon, Ohio, to Vestal Dan (Annette) Walker and the late Diane Jackson. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, whose kindness and warmth touched many lives.
Christopher will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lisa (née Owens), with whom he shared a devoted marriage, having celebrated their anniversary just a day before his passing. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, raising two remarkable daughters, Alyssa and Maggie, who were the light of his life.
Christopher was predeceased by his cherished mother, Diane Jackson, and his dear brother, Danny Walker. He is survived by his father, Vestal Dan Walker and stepmother Annette, as well as his siblings Benjamin (Bianca) Walker, Alyson (Brandon) Edwards, Joshua (Jennifer) Walker, and Rachel Walker. His extended family includes numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will fondly remember him for his genuine spirit and unwavering support.
A proud veteran, Christopher honorably served his country in the United States Army. He completed his basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and furthered his skills in medic training at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. His military service was a testament to his dedication and commitment to helping others, a trait that he carried throughout his life.
Christopher was passionate about sports and leisure. He was an avid fan of the Las Vegas Raiders and never missed an opportunity to cheer them on. He also found joy in playing golf, a hobby that allowed him to connect with friends and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Christopher's life at a memorial service to be held on May 15, 2026, at 5:30 PM at McLean Funeral Home, located in Belmont, NC.
