Growing up in Sidney, Christopher was the son of John and Lynn Prater. He was preceded in death by his father, John Prater, and his cherished grandmother, Helen Prater. Christopher's life was enriched by his 30-year marriage to his devoted wife, Kerri. Together, they built a home filled with laughter and affection. Christopher was a proud father to two children, Chris Jr., of Piqua, Ohio, and Paul and his wife Wendy, of Sidney, Ohio. He is also survived by his brother Rick Prater of St. Cloud, Kentucky, and his sister Tiffany Kerentsew of Vandalia, Ohio, who will remember him as a loyal and caring sibling. Christopher's legacy continues through his three grandchildren, whose presence brought him endless joy and a renewed sense of wonder.
