Christopher J. Jordan

We gather to celebrate the life of Christopher J. Jordan, affectionately known as Jay, who was born on April 13, 1972, in Vallejo, California. Jay passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family on July 24, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and unwavering kindness. Jay was the beloved son of Lou Bertha Jordan and Joseph Jordan Jr., who predeceased him. He shared his life with his cherished wife, Tiffany Jordan, whom he married on June 26, 2016, in Reno. Their ten years together were filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. Jay was the proud father of Nevaeha Perlman and Jackson Speaks-Jordan, and although he had no grandchildren, he took immense joy in his extended family, including five sisters, five brothers, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A proud alumnus of Hogan High School, Jay furthered his education at Napa Valley College. His career spanned 27 years in the Department of Corrections, with the majority of his service at San Quentin State Prison as a Correctional Officer and Range master. Jay was known for his dedication to safety enforcement and had a remarkable ability to make people feel comfortable and confident at the range. He retired in 2022, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and camaraderie. Outside of work, Jay had a zest for life that was contagious. He loved riding motorcycles and had a passion for cooking and grilling. Jay was the heart of family gatherings, known for his legendary BBQs and friendly cook-offs. An avid Raiders fan, he brought energy and laughter to every football game he watched, sharing his enthusiasm with all those around him. Jay’s quick wit, warm smile, and gentle humor were hallmarks of his personality. He had an innate gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued, and his kindness and generosity touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. A service to honor Jay’s life will be held on August 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, located at 1850 W. Texas Street, Fairfield, CA 94533. Repast to follow immediately after service at the same location. As we say goodbye to Jay, we hold close the memories and the love he shared. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. “Forever in our hearts.”
