Christopher Ford

June 11, 1968 — October 20, 2026

Christopher Ford, a beloved husband, father, and steadfast leader, passed away on October 20, 2026, at the age of 58. Born on June 11, 1968, in Atlanta, Georgia, Chris was a beacon of strength and integrity whose life was defined by his unwavering commitment to his family and community. Throughout his life, Chris embodied the values of hard work and dedication. He was a respected professional in the logistics field, having worked for many years at Harry’s before it was acquired by Whole Foods. His career was more than just a job; it was a testament to his determination to provide for those he loved. Chris’s pride in supporting his family was matched only by his deep affection for them. Chris shared a beautiful life with his cherished wife, Sharon, and took immense joy in being a father to their son, Bradford, as well as their extended family: Kyla, Kaegan, Karis, and Chasity. He opened his heart and home to all, including Sharon’s sister, Melanie, who lived with them for a time after college. Though he did not have biological children, Chris was a father in every sense, offering guidance, love, and support to all who were fortunate enough to be part of his life. Despite facing health challenges that limited some of his activities, Chris remained an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, finding joy and camaraderie in cheering for his favorite team. His resilience in the face of adversity was a source of inspiration to those around him. Chris’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Henry Piedmont Hospital for their care and support. Their kindness will always be remembered. A celebration of Chris’s life will be held on November 7, 2026, at Legacy Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor the legacy of a man whose life was a testament to love, strength, and perseverance. Christopher Ford’s legacy is one of love, leadership, and enduring strength. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him but will forever remain in our hearts.
