His siblings, James Skaggs, Catherine Fitzpatrick, Lynell Scotto, and Laurel Barnehurg, remember him as a devoted brother whose kindness and warmth were a constant source of comfort.
A graduate of Del Norte High School, Chris had an inquisitive mind and a passion for learning. His journey of education continued through his dedicated service in the United States Air Force, where he proudly served his country for 20 years. Chris retired with honor, having touched the lives of many with his unwavering dedication and strong sense of duty.

A service to celebrate Chris's life and legacy will be held on October 23, 2026, at 11:20 a.m. at the Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery, located at 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr, Boulder City, NV 89005. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Chris are invited to attend and pay their respects.
