In Loving Memory

Christopher Willett
August 13, 1970 — October 24, 2026
It is with profound sadness and heartfelt remembrance that we announce the passing of Christopher Willett, who left us on October 24, 2026, at the age of 56. Chris was born on August 13, 1970, in Louisville, Kentucky, where he spent much of his life bringing laughter and joy to all who knew him.
Chris was the beloved son of the late Thomas Willett and Sharon Kullman, and stepson to the late Wade Kullman. He was a devoted and loving father to his children, Brianna Willett(Gabe), Derek Willett, and stepson Nicholas Robinette. His legacy of love and laughter will live on through his children, grandchildren, sister Kim Conklin, niece Tiffany, nephew Jeremy, and his Uncle Jan(Debbie).
After graduating from Valley High School in 1988, Chris had many roles in the work
Industry but ended his career at Med-Dyne, where his dedication and work ethic were appreciated by EW and Courtney and friends alike. Beyond his professional life, Chris was a man of many passions. A lifelong fan of the Louisville Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs, he shared his love of sports with those around him. Music was another of Chris's great joys. He found happiness in the melodies of Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, Staind, and Blink 182, often jamming out to his favorite tunes with a smile on his face. He also had a huge love for his fur-babies. Jax, Roxi and Sissy were waiting for him when he went home to heaven.
Weekends were a time for family and friends, as Chris fired up the grill to serve his legendary burgers. These gatherings were filled with laughter, stories, and the sound of his son Derek playing his favorite songs on the bass, which brought Chris immense pride and delight.
Known for his sharp wit and infectious sense of humor, Chris was the class clown. He had a unique way of brightening any room and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and he touched the lives of many with his warm spirit.
Chris faced the challenges of a stroke in July 2025 with courage and resilience, demonstrating the same strength he brought to every aspect of his life. He fought bravely until the end, surrounded by the love of his family.
Chris Willett will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his legacy of laughter and love will endure in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Christopher Willett welcomes donations to a charity, nonprofit, church, or organization of your choosing.
