Her life was a testament to love, compassion, and unwavering commitment to family and community. Christine was the cherished daughter of the late Laverne Robinson, and Nathaniel and Lillie Boyd. Her biological father, Thomas Boyd, played a role in the tapestry of her life, which was enriched by the companionship of many siblings. Preceding her in eternal rest were her brothers Curtis T. Boyd, Adam Tyree Boyd Sr., MaTaw Boyd, and James W. Boyd, along with her beloved sisters Florence V. Hargrove, Everlean Boyd, Kathryn Boyd, and Janice Boyd. She is survived by her devoted spouse, James Jackson Jr., with whom she shared a love story that began in February 1973. Together, they created a home filled with warmth and hospitality, nurturing not only their family but also extending their love and support to the children around them. Christine's surviving siblings, Nathaniel Boyd Jr., Steven Boyd, Nathaniel Boyd III, Carol Boyd, and Madeline Boyd-Moamin, along with her dedicated sisters-in-law, Patrice Sellers (Charles), Mary Dorighty (Jim), Kathleen Chew (Wesley), and Debra Smith (Tyrone), all held a special place in her heart. Each relationship she nurtured was marked by her genuine acceptance and the motherly, heartwarming smile she was known for. Education was a cornerstone of Christine's early life, having graduated from Randolph Henry Senior High School in Charlotte Court House. Her faith was a guiding light, and she was an active, cherished member of the First Baptist Church in Wylliesburg, Virginia. Christine's career was marked by dedication and hard work. She contributed to her community through her roles at Burlington Industries, a local shoe factory, and later as a caregiver in rehabilitation, where her kind-hearted nature touched countless lives. In her leisure time, Christine was an avid fisher and a great cook, known for bringing people together over delicious meals. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her family, creating memories filled with laughter and love. Christine's life was a reflection of her personal qualities—she was God's sweet angel on Earth, a loving spouse, a loyal friend, and a caregiver to all.
