Christine Anne Vasquez

It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of Christine Anne Vasquez, who left this world on April 17, 2026, just shy of her 70th birthday. Born in Evanston, Illinois, on April 29, 1956, Christine was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred Weisenberger. She now rests in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior reunited with her husband, Adelaido "Al" Vasquez, and her cherished daughter, Erica Anne Vasquez. She joins them in eternal peace. She leaves behind: her children, Michael (Stefanie) Vasquez, Maria Vasquez, Elida (John) Hagen, and Manuel Vasquez, who each carry forward her legacy. Her grandchildren, Liliana, Frankie, Paxton, Branley, Kyler, Kolton, and Bryce. Christine is also survived by her siblings, Joseph (Mindy) Weisenberger, Judith (Bill) Bramlett, Marie (John) Nicklas, Catherine Townsend, Susan (Russell) Ehret, Elizabeth Anderson, Timothy (Jamie) Weisenberger, Thomas (Dorothy) Weisenberger, and Robert (Skye) Weisenberger. She cherished her many nieces and nephews. Christine was known for her charming eccentricities, and ability to stand out in a crowd. She had a passion for karaoke, and always sang like no one was watching. Mass service will be held on May 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, located at 434 W Park St, Arlington Heights, IL 60005. Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to gather and honor the memory of Christine. May Christine rest in peace, surrounded by the love of those who have gone before her, and may her memory be a blessing to us all.
