Langdon, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who departed this life on April 30, 2026, at the age of 73, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Christine was born on June 13, 1952, in Erie, Pennsylvania, to Edward and Elizabeth Wygant, who predeceased her, as did her sister Katherine Bojorquez, her devoted husband David Lawrence Langdon, and her cherished sons, Timothy and David Edward Langdon.
Christine's journey through life was marked by a gentle spirit and a heart full of love and kindness. She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, the most significant being the love she had for her family. She is survived by her loving daughter, Shana Burnett, and her son-in-law, Leon Burnett. Her legacy of love continues through her grandchildren, Mikayla and Lincoln Burnett, and Lukas and Logan Langdon, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. Christine cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will forever be held close to their hearts.
Christine's career path led her to St Vincent's Hospital, where she worked as a telephone operator. Her warm and friendly voice was a comfort to many, and her dedication to her work was a testament to her caring nature. Outside of her career, Christine's life was enriched by the community and fellowship she found at Grace Church, attending services with her dear friends Nancy Carlucci and Shirley Bloodworth. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, and she found solace and strength in her spiritual community.
Known for her selflessness and unwavering commitment to helping others, Christine was always willing to lend a hand wherever and whenever needed. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her compassion touched the lives of many.
A private funeral service will be held to honor Christine's memory, celebrating the beautiful life she lived and the love she gave so freely. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Alzheimer's research or a charity of choice, in memory of Christine's generous spirit and enduring kindness.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Hospice Staff who provided compassionate care and support to Christine in her final days. Their dedication and kindness will always be remembered.
Christine A. Langdon's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and faith. While she will be dearly missed, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
