In loving memory of Christina Martinez, who peacefully departed from this world on May 11, 2026, at the age of 54. Born on March 13, 1972, in Rawlins, Wyoming, Christina's life was a testament to resilience, love, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her courageous battle with breast cancer came to an end, yet her spirit remains a beacon of strength and grace for all who knew her. Christina was the beloved daughter of Bill Murphy, who raised her with a foundation of love and integrity. She was cherished by her family and friends, who admired her tenacity and compassion. Christina was predeceased by her brothers Billy, Steve, and Christopher Murphy, as well as her sister Angie Murphy. Her memories and the love they shared continue to be felt deeply by those who remain. Christina found the love of her life in her devoted husband, James Martinez. Together, they built a family rooted in love, laughter, and shared dreams. Her legacy lives on through her children, Kevin Martinez and Kyana Martinez, who were the light of her life. As a mother, Christina instilled in them the values of kindness, perseverance, and empathy. Her role as a grandmother brought her immense joy, and she adored her two grandchildren, whose lives she enriched with her warmth and wisdom. Those who knew Christina will remember her as a woman of remarkable strength and grace. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her ability to spread joy and hope touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Her laughter was contagious, and her spirit was indomitable—a true testament to the beauty of a life well-lived. A service to honor and celebrate Christina's life will be held on May 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Hope Church, located at 4710 Juan Tuba NE, Albuquerque, NM. Friends and family are invited to gather and share in the memories of a remarkable woman who left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she loved. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Christina’s memory to a breast cancer research foundation of your choice, to continue the fight against the illness that took her from us too soon. While Christina may have left this world, her legacy of love, compassion, and resilience will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
