October 29, 1961 — July 14, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christina Lynne, who left this world peacefully on July 14, 2026, at Maple Heights. Born on October 29, 1961, in Topeka, Kansas, Christina was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. A graduate of Hiawatha High School, Christina dedicated her life to serving others with warmth and kindness. She worked at Walmart for 33 years, where she was known for her role as a door greeter. Her beautiful smile could light up a room and was a beacon of warmth and welcome to all who crossed her path. For 25 years, she also served as a dishwasher and lunch lady at the local elementary school, roles she cherished dearly. Her dedication to her work and genuine care for others left an indelible mark on her community. Christina was born to loving parents, Carl and Cora, who predeceased her, along with her brother, Dan, and her grandparents. She leaves behind her beloved brother, Don, and her sisters, Carla and Connie. Christina was a beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she adored. Although she had no grandchildren, her legacy of love and kindness lives on through the lives she touched. Her life was a testament to resilience and grace, and she faced her own challenges with remarkable courage and an unwavering spirit. Despite her disabilities, Christina's kindness knew no bounds, and she consistently demonstrated compassion and understanding towards others. A private ceremony will be held to honor her life, as was her wish. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Christina's memory. Christina Lynne will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her spirit will continue to inspire us all. Her unwavering love and kindness will remain in our hearts forever.
