Christina Elaine Blake, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026. Born on November 27, 1944, in Jacksonville, North Carolina, Christina was the cherished daughter of Martha and Crist Blake. From a young age, Christina demonstrated a loving spirit that would guide her throughout her life. Growing up in a warm and supportive family environment, she learned the values of kindness and generosity, traits she carried into her adult life. She was predeceased by her younger brother, Dennis Crist, whom she missed dearly. Christina's life was enriched by a marriage that spanned over fifty wonderful years. On February 12th, 1931, she united in love with her lifelong partner, sharing a journey filled with joy, laughter, and mutual support. Together, they raised three beautifully well-adjusted children who were the pride of her life. A devoted mother, Christina is survived by her loving children, Timothy Blake and Tony Blake, who will continue to honor her legacy with their own families. Christina's nurturing heart extended beyond her immediate family, as she was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Allison Blake, Alex Blake, Warren Blake, Andrea Blake, Timothy Blake, Heather Blake, Emma Blake, and Hayley Blake. Her legacy also includes six great-grandchildren, each a testament to the enduring impact of her love and guidance. Christina's life was a testament to the beauty of family, dedication, and compassion. She was known for her warmth, her welcoming smile, and her ability to make everyone feel at home. Her generous nature and unwavering faith in the goodness of people inspired those around her, creating a ripple effect of kindness and love. As a family, we will honor Christina with a private funeral ceremony, as she wished for an intimate gathering of those closest to her heart. In lieu of flowers, and in memory of Christina's generous spirit, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Research Association, based in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan. This organization was close to Christina's heart, and contributions in her name will continue her legacy of love and care. Christina Elaine Blake's life was a beacon of love, and her memory will forever be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her impact will be felt for generations to come. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so generously shared.
