Christina Ann Threlkeld Whetstine

July 20, 1980 — April 6, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Christina Ann Threlkeld Whetstine, who left this world on April 6, 2026. Born on July 20, 1980, in the beautiful city of Lakewood, Colorado, Christina graced our lives with her warmth, laughter, and boundless love for 45 years. Christina was the beloved daughter of Sharon Threlkeld and the late Charles Threlkeld. Her father's gentle spirit and her mother's nurturing nature shaped Christina into the compassionate, kind-hearted woman we all cherished. She was predeceased by her dear father, Charles, and her brother-in-law, Michael Whetstine, whose memories she held close to her heart. Christina's life was a testament to love and devotion. On October 3, 2008, she married her soulmate, Caleb Whetstine, in the very state where she was born. Together, they embarked on a journey filled with joy and shared dreams, raising their two treasured children, Brayden and Dylan Whetstine. Her love for her family was the cornerstone of her existence, and she dedicated her life to creating a home filled with laughter, warmth, and unwavering support. A proud alumna of Green Mountain High School, Christina graduated in 1998. Her education laid the foundation for a life driven by curiosity and intelligence. She was known for her sweet giggle that could light up any room, a testament to her bright and infectious personality. Christina embraced life with spontaneity and an adventurous spirit, finding joy in the simple pleasures of cooking, camping, and spending cherished moments with friends and family. Recently, Christina discovered a passion for yoga, which brought her peace and serenity. Her loyalty, genuine nature, and caring heart made her a cherished friend to many. She was a beacon of understanding, always ready to lend an ear or a helping hand to those in need. Christina was not only a devoted wife and mother but also a loving sister to Dane Threlkeld, Doug Threlkeld, Taylor Threlkeld, Lauren Threlkeld, Spencer Threlkeld, and Katey Threlkeld, along with a beloved daughter-in-law to Sharon Threlkeld. In honoring Christina's memory, a private ceremony will be held for immediate family. Those who wish to pay tribute to Christina's life and support her family in this difficult time may contribute to the memorial fund established in her name. Donations can be made at Memorial Fund. Though she left us far too soon, Christina's legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate a life beautifully lived, a life that touched so many with its genuine warmth and unyielding compassion. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the same love and light she so generously shared with the world.
