Christian departed this life peacefully at her home on March 14, 2026, at the tender age of 34. Her journey began in Herrin, Illinois, where she was born on September 7, 1991, to the loving parents, Michael Frields and Tarri Shewmaker. Christian's life was a testament to the beauty of simple joys and genuine connections. She was a proud graduate of SIC, where she not only pursued her education but also cultivated lifelong friendships and embraced life's opportunities with great enthusiasm and a contagious sense of humor. Her laughter was a melody that brightened the hearts of many, and her kindness was a balm to the souls around her. Her love for swimming was well-known among her family and friends. Whether she was gliding through the water or simply enjoying the company of her cherished friends, Christian found peace and happiness in these moments. She was a woman who valued relationships and always made time for those she cared about, wrapping each one in the warmth of her generous spirit. Christian's life was also marked by the deep love she held for her family. Though she suffered the loss of her father, Michael Frields, and dear family members Lloyd Frields, Jamie Yarber, Roger Yarber, Daryl Yarber, and Karen Yarber before her, she carried their memories with grace and a quiet strength that inspired those around her. In honoring Christian's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate her life and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of those who loved her. While her physical presence will be dearly missed, her spirit will forever be a guiding light to her family and friends.
