Christa Nicole Hulin
February 9, 2001 — July 9, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Christa Nicole Hulin, who left this world too soon on July 9, 2026, at the tender age of 25. Born on February 9, 2001, in New Iberia, Louisiana, Christa graced our lives with her vibrant spirit and enduring love.
Christa was cherished by her parents, Christine and William Hulin, who nurtured her with love and support throughout her life. She is now reunited with her beloved brother, Micheal Worsham, who predeceased her. Christa also leaves behind her best friend of twenty years, who stood by her side through life's many chapters. She has chosen to donate her body to Tulane university for scientific research.
A proud graduate of New Iberia Senior High School, Christa was known for her boundless energy and unique ability to bring calm and comfort to those around her. Her loving heart and infectious personality left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Christa's hobbies and interests included gaming and spreading kindness wherever she went, earning her the affectionate title of an "all-around angel."
Despite the struggles she faced, Christa's resilience was evident to all who knew her. Her family shares this heartfelt message: "She loved you all so much, but her life was taken too soon by her demons she fought with resilience every day. We miss you, my beautiful angel."
A service to honor Christa's life will be held on July 13, 2026, at 9:00 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, located at 108 E St Peter St, New Iberia, LA 70560. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Christa are invited to join in this celebration of her life.
In memory of Christa, her family requests that any donations be made to a charity or organization that supports mental health awareness and suicide prevention, continuing Christa's legacy of kindness and compassion.
Though Christa's time with us was brief, her spirit and love will remain in our hearts forever.

Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there; I did not die.
