Chris was the beloved son of Jack and Rebecca Broadnax Scott, who predeceased him and whose values and kindness he carried forward in his own life. He was a devoted and loving husband to Pamela Grayson, his partner of 26 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Chris's dedication to family was unparalleled, and he was a devoted father figure to Deon Aaron and Chelsea Jones, who survive him and will forever carry his spirit in their hearts.
Throughout his life, Chris exemplified the virtues of kindness, compassion, and integrity. He was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was spending time with his loved ones, engaging in spirited discussions, or enjoying the beauty of nature. His infectious smile and gentle demeanor endeared him to everyone he met, creating bonds that transcended time and distance.
Chris approached every challenge with courage and resilience, inspiring those around him with his unwavering positivity. His love for his family was the cornerstone of his existence, and he took immense pride in their achievements, always offering support and guidance with a gentle hand.
Though Chris's journey on this earth has ended, his legacy will continue to shine brightly through the lives he touched. His memory will forever be cherished by his wife, Pamela, his children, Deon and Chelsea, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of Chris's life will be held at a later date, where friends and family will gather to honor the remarkable man he was. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Chris's memory to a charity close to his heart, reflecting his commitment to making the world a better place.
As we say goodbye to Chris, we remember him not with sorrow but with gratitude for the profound impact he had on our lives. May his spirit find eternal peace, and may we carry his love and kindness forward, as he would have wished.
