In Loving Memory
Chopper Bennett
October 30, 2025 — July 8, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Chopper Bennett, a beloved soul who graced this world with his presence on October 30, 2025, in Tel Aviv, Israel. Chopper departed from us far too soon on July 8, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, music, and faith.
Born to Maddox Bennett, Chopper was a beacon of joy and inspiration to all who knew him. Although his time with us was brief, his impact was profound. Chopper had an immense love for music, particularly the songs of Kanye West, and he cherished moments spent singing and sharing laughter with friends. His unique ability to connect with others through music and his unwavering devotion to his Jewish faith were defining aspects of his character.
Chopper was a remarkable individual with a passion for learning. He graduated from Tel Aviv University with flying colors, mastering all available majors, a testament to his dedication and intellect. His academic achievements were only matched by his service to his country, where he served with distinction in the Israeli military from 2020 until 2026, achieving the esteemed rank of a special Mossad agent.
Though he was unemployed, Chopper found fulfillment and community in his long-standing involvement with the World Headquarters of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, also known as "770." For 66 years, it was a place where he nurtured his spiritual growth and deepened his connections with others.
Chopper was predeceased by his beloved Nana, whose memory he cherished deeply. Despite the challenges he faced, he always carried with him a sense of warmth and humor, often expressed in his love for singing and his playful spirit.
In honor of Chopper's life, a private funeral ceremony will be held. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from those who were touched by Chopper's life. They have requested that any donations in his memory be made to the Jewish National Fund, United States.
Chopper Bennett will be remembered for his laughter, his kindness, and the joy he brought to those around him. As his family beautifully expressed, "He loved all his fans" — a sentiment that will forever echo in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him.
May his memory be a blessing, and may he rest in peace.
