In Loving Memory

Chineze Onuabuchi nee Moneke
August 5, 1959 — June 26, 2026
We are heartbroken to announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Chineze Onuabuchi (née Moneke), who left us in her sleep on June 26, 2026. Born on August 5, 1959, in the vibrant town of Imose, Ogun State, Nigeria, Chineze's life was a testament to love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family and community.
Chineze was the cherished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moneke, who instilled in her the virtues of kindness and resilience that she carried throughout her life. A devoted wife, she shared an enduring and loving partnership with her husband, Kayode. Together, they created a home filled with warmth and laughter, nurturing their children, Adenike and Feyisayo, who carry forward her legacy of compassion and integrity.
Her family was her pride and joy, and she was a doting grandmother to five precious grandchildren. Chineze's love knew no bounds, and she extended it generously to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though her siblings and many dear family members have predeceased her, including her daughters Adenike and Feyi, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
A woman of faith, Chineze was an active member of St. Mary Anglican Church in Awka, Anambra State. Her dedication to her faith and her community was evident in the countless lives she touched with her generosity and grace.
A service to honor Chineze's life will be held on August 8, 2026, at 10:00 PM at St. Mary Anglican Church, Awka, Anambra State. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate the remarkable life of a truly exceptional woman.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to a charity of your choice, in keeping with Chineze's spirit of giving.
As we bid farewell to our beloved Chineze, we hold close the fond memories and the love she shared with us. She will forever remain in our hearts, a beacon of light and love.
"Forever in our hearts," her family lovingly expresses, as we cherish the indelible marks she has left on our lives.
