May 22, 2003 — April 12, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cheyenne Saavedra, a beloved soul whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. Born on May 22, 2003, in sunny Vero Beach, Florida, Cheyenne's journey in this world came to a peaceful close on April 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Erin, Tennessee. Her spirit will continue to live in the memories and hearts of those who loved her forever. Cheyenne was a cherished daughter of Ernest and Christie Gerber, whose love and support shaped her into the remarkable woman she had become. On February 16, 2024, she embarked on a beautiful journey of marriage with her devoted husband, Jude Saavedra, who survives her and carries forward the light of her love. A proud graduate of Penn-Foster in 2023, Cheyenne pursued her passion for animals by dedicating four years to pet grooming. Her gentle touch and caring nature made her an adored figure in the lives of countless pets, particularly dogs, which she held close to her heart. Her love for nature and the outdoors was evident to all who knew her. Whether it was the rustling leaves of a forest or the quiet companionship of an animal, Cheyenne found solace and joy in the natural world. Cheyenne was more than her hobbies, though they were many and varied. She loved playing video games, found joy in painting and crocheting. She had a knack for all kinds of crafts. But beyond her interests, it was her character that truly set her apart. She was a defender of those less able. A fun-loving spirit whose laughter and kindness were infectious. Her protective nature and boundless compassion left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her family and friends are invited to her celebration of life on May 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Dickson, located at 2501 US-70, Dickson, TN 37055. As we honor her memory, we gather not in sorrow but in gratitude for the love and joy she brought into our lives. In this time of sorrow, the family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Cheyenne's final days. Their kindness made an immeasurable difference in this difficult time. Cheyenne’s departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will forever inspire those who knew her. May she rest in peace.
