Cheyenne Saavedra

May 22, 2003 — April 12, 2026

With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Cheyenne Saavedra, a beloved wife, daughter, and friend to all who knew her. Born on May 22, 2003, in the serene town of Vero Beach, Florida, Cheyenne graced our world with her vibrant spirit until April 12, 2026, when she peacefully departed this life at home, surrounded by the love of her family. Cheyenne was the cherished daughter of Ernest and Christie Gerber, whose love and guidance shaped her into the remarkable woman she became. Her adventurous spirit led her to Jude Saavedra, with whom she shared a deep and abiding love. They were united in marriage on February 16, 2024, embarking on a journey filled with joy, companionship, and shared dreams. A proud alumna of Penn-Foster, Cheyenne graduated in 2023, armed with knowledge and ambition that fueled her passion for animal care. For four fulfilling years, she dedicated her talents to her role as a pet groomer, where her gentle touch and kind heart left an indelible mark on every animal she encountered. Her love for nature and creatures big and small was a testament to her generous spirit, particularly her fondness for dogs, which brought her immense joy. Cheyenne was an individual of many talents and interests. Her love for the outdoors was matched by her creative pursuits, including video gaming, crocheting, and a variety of crafts. Yet, beyond her hobbies, it was her remarkable character that endeared her to many. Cheyenne was a fierce protector, standing up to bullies and spreading kindness and fun wherever she went. Her laughter and humor were infectious, leaving a trail of smiles and warmth in her wake. To honor and celebrate Cheyenne's life, a service will be held on May 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Dickson, located at 2501 US-70, Dickson, TN 37055. Family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched are warmly invited to join in remembrance of a life beautifully lived. In this time of grief, the family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Cheyenne's final days. Their kindness provided comfort and solace to both Cheyenne and her loved ones in a time of need. Though Cheyenne's time with us was short, her legacy of love, courage, and joy will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Jude Saavedra, and her beloved parents, Ernest and Christie Gerber. Her memory will be cherished, and her spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to local animal shelters in Cheyenne's honor, a fitting tribute to her enduring love for animals and her unwavering spirit. May she rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
