It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Cheryl Muller, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Cheryl left this world peacefully on May 16, 2026, at the age of 75, after a courageous battle with progressive supranuclear palsy, a form of Parkinson’s disease. She was surrounded by her loving family, who will continue to carry her spirit in their hearts.
Born on March 24, 1951, in the sunny town of Clearwater, Florida, Cheryl was the cherished daughter of John and Ardith Swift. She grew up with a passion for learning and a deep-seated faith, which guided her through every chapter of her remarkable life.
Cheryl’s life was a testament to love and devotion. For 49 beautiful years, she shared her journey with her husband, Robert Muller, a partnership marked by unwavering support and countless shared memories. Together, they built a family rooted in love, laughter, and faith.
As a mother, Cheryl was a beacon of warmth and strength. Her daughters, Jennifer and Melissa, were the center of her world, and she nurtured them with boundless affection and wisdom. Cheryl was also blessed with four adoring grandchildren and eagerly anticipated the arrival of her first great-grandchild. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to flourish through them.
Cheryl’s professional life was as diverse as it was impactful. She dedicated herself to nurturing young minds as a preschool teacher and shared her deep faith as a Bible teacher. Later, she extended her compassion to those in need as the vice president of a hospice, offering comfort and care to countless families.
Faith was the cornerstone of Cheryl’s life. She grew up attending Gratiot Baptist Church in Michigan and was a devoted member of Willow Creek Community Church in Illinois for over three decades. In her final years, she found solace and community at Hope Church in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Cheryl’s interests were as varied as her talents. She had a special love for family dinners, where her culinary skills shone, creating meals that were as nourishing as they were delicious. A gifted knitter, she crafted handmade treasures for her loved ones. Above all, Cheryl cherished spending time with her grandchildren, filling their lives with laughter and joy.
Her sense of humor was infectious, and her love for the Lord was profound and unwavering, shaping her into a woman of extraordinary grace and strength. Cheryl was an unbelievable, loving mother and grandmother whose spirit touched everyone she met.
Cheryl’s life will be celebrated in a memorial service on August 29, 2026, at 3:00 PM at The Shelton family residence in Henderson, Nevada. Family and friends are warmly invited to join in honoring her remarkable life and legacy.
