Cheryl was born on October 22, 1956. She was the cherished daughter of James and Rita Docherty. Cheryl grew up in a loving home, where she developed a strong bond with her siblings, Sandy and Kenny, and learned the values of kindness and resilience from her parents. Her father, James, predeceased her, and she now joins him in eternal rest.
For over four decades, Cheryl dedicated herself to her career as a paralegal. Her unwavering commitment and meticulous attention to detail earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues. Cheryl's dedication to her work was matched only by her devotion to her family, whom she treasured above all else.
Cheryl's life was enriched by her role as a mother to her beloved son, Matthew, and her daughter-in-law, Shawna. The joy of her life, however, was her grandchildren, Piper and Carson, who brought her endless delight and laughter. Cheryl's eyes sparkled with happiness whenever she spoke of them, and she cherished every moment spent in their company.
Family was the cornerstone of Cheryl's life, and her home was always filled with love and laughter. Her quick wit and infectious humor could light up any room, and she had a remarkable ability to find joy in the simplest of moments. Cheryl's warmth and generosity of spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Beyond her immediate family, Cheryl's love extended to her mother, Rita, her sister, Sandy, her brother, Kenny, and her many cherished nieces and nephews. She was a source of strength and support to her family, always ready with a listening ear and a kind word.
In her leisure time, Cheryl delighted in the simple pleasures of life, particularly those shared with her family. Cheryl's presence was a constant reminder of the love that binds a family together.
As we say goodbye to Cheryl, we celebrate her life and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. Her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will forever remain a source of comfort and strength.
