Cheranda was the beloved daughter of Charles Abraham and the late Viola Golden, who predeceased her. She is survived by her siblings, Ellery Golden, Jarvis Golden, Destiny Abraham, and Charles Abraham II, who mourn the loss of a sister whose warmth and humor were as constant as the Texas sun. Cheranda was also a devoted aunt to her nieces, Kaidence Phenix and Samiyah Golden, and nephews, Jarvis Golden Jr., Zeldon Golden, Dylan Phenix, Asher Wiggins, and Asaiah Wiggins, all of whom adored their 'Aunt Cher' for her infectious laughter and playful spirit.
Cheranda was known for her radiant smile, a gentle curve that could light up any room and lift even the heaviest of hearts. She possessed a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued, ensuring that no one ever felt like a stranger in her presence. Her generosity and kindness were boundless, teaching us all the importance of compassion and empathy through her actions and words.
An avid cook, Cheranda found joy in preparing meals that brought her loved ones together around the table. Her culinary skills were matched only by her creativity, as evidenced by her love for coloring, a pastime she often shared with her nieces and nephews. Above all, Cheranda cherished time spent with her family, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.
A celebration of Cheranda's life will be held on June 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM at TFOP, located at 13951 Hillcroft Ave, Houston, TX 77085. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Cheranda are invited to honor her memory and the profound impact she made on our world.
